This three step buffing process is perfect for food safe projects like bowls, goblets and more. We recommend that your final workpiece is treated or pre-finished with an oil such as danish oil prior to buffing.
This kit can be used with any lathe (not included) with a #2 Morse taper and live center to stabilize the heavy duty mandrel. The lathe must also have a clearance of at least 4.5" between lathe bed and the spindle center (9" swing). The mandrel has a #2 Morse taper on one end and will accept a live center on the other end.
